The year 201 was an excellent one for Pakistani Movie Industry where the bar was raised again and again with films like Motor Cycle Girl, Cake and Load Wedding taking on our Societal tendencies head on and movies like JPNA 2 and Teefa in Trouble ushering in the beginning of Pakis Masala Movies with a bang.
All said we have come a long long way from when the Industry was dead and we are so looking forward to seeing some more great movies in 2019!

Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
