Sea food being a special favorite of my family it’s no wonder that we all love to have Prawn Karahi in my family. Down below I am sharing a very easy but contemporary and spicy recipe of Prawn Karahi with minimal ingredients but packing a punch of flavor. Read on!
Prawns: 1 KG
Tomatoes: 8 Chopped
Green Chilies: 12 Diced and blended till a smooth paste forms
Ginger: 3 Inch piece chopped in thin strips
Black Pepper Corns (about a dozen)
Ground Red Chili
Take a wok and heat the oil in it. Toss in the Black Pepper Corns and stir till they are crisp. Add the tomato paste and cook till the paste forms a thick gravy. Toss in half of the green chilies and ginger along with the prawns. Cook for approximately 5 to 8 minutes depending on the size of the prawn. Add salt and ground red chilies according to your taste and garnish with the remaining ginger and green chilies.

Do not overcook the prawns as they lose their moisture and become rubbery
