Hygiene is something that is or should be taken very seriously for the sake of ones own self and the people around you.
Summers are the worst where maintenance of hygiene is concerned. The sweltering heat of Pakistan, the Humidity factor of Karachi, the power outages and the non air conditioned status of most places in our country just add to our problems.
There is one specific aspect of Hygiene maintenance that I would like to talk about today that has nothing to do with deodorants.
We often feel especially when it’s humid that our clothes carry a sickly wet odor even after we freshly shower and our clothes are freshly washed and ironed.
The reason behind this is very simple. The urge to keep cool often makes us not want to towel dry our body and we wear our clothes on damp skin. That is the worst mistake that we can generally make during summers! The moisture on the body and the heat and humidity in the atmosphere around us very soon turns into an ugly damp smell on our clothes that no amount of deodorant or cologne can hide.
It is absolutely essential that we towel ourselves dry thoroughly especially in the sweat prone parts of our body before we wear our clothes. That keeps the clothes fresh and your body safe from any hygienic accidents!
