So yesterday we went out after dinner to have something sweet, and end up going to a place called karamel desserts.
It was a small shop at zamzama near FLOC, and had red neon lighting inside. It also had a few neon signs that read cookie, icecream and brookie (brownie and cookie).
We ordered the newyork cookie and the triple choc chunk cookies, with icecream on the side of both. It is highly recommended not to have this dessert after a full stomach, and that was the mistake we made.
It was too heavy to consume, however it was a nice hard cookie with a soft chocolate centre. It did not appear to be as tempting in taste as it was in appearance though.
Also, It was too overpriced. The prices had us entirely in shock.
Overall, it was a place that we would not like to visit more than twice or thrice, however its worth a choice if you have a sweet tooth.
Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
