Pink was the color this year on the international rams and our very own designers jumped on to this trend also.
I wrote about it some time back and you can find the article here.
Anyhow I am not too much into the lawn mania which is a subject I will leave for another time but I have always had a taste for the embroidered lawn collections from Bareeze’.
The look I am about to share here is a Swiss voile pink shirt with White embroidery which is very stunning (at least to my eyes!). The color makes it a perfect choice for the hot summers of Karachi and it easily translates from the office to a lunch or even an important meeting. Since I had it particularly stitched for the day time I didn’t go with my preferred sleeveless shirt and had a full sleeves Kurta stitched instead with capris. Note that the capris are 2 shades darker in tone from the shirt to give a slight edge to an otherwise watery shade. Again keeping day time wear in consideration I had a pure chiffon Duppata in pink and white dyed to go along with the Kurta. Remember to keep small details in mind when getting your clothes stitched and when it is expensive material less is more.
I paired them with metallic pink wedges from Marie Claire and loose unstyled hair in its natural texture. Jewelry was at a minimum with only a ring to go as I was dressed to give a pitch to a client and hence the Jaffer Jee’s Black leather tote.
