Being the woman with a Shoe Fetish when I saw the Coming soon Aldo sign in DolmenMall Clifton
this week my spirits naturally picked up!
The High Street Brand that originated in Canada and has retail outlets around the world
already has a shop in Lahore and it was just a matter of time before it would hit the Karachi
market too. None too soon I’d say!
A fav brand for years the best thing about Aldo is that it takes every year’s high fashion trends from
ramps around the world and translates that to products in stores before you know it.
With comfortable shoes and great bags and accessories and a price that will not leave you totally
broke this is a good addition to the Pakistani Brand Scene.
We are hoping to see more investment in Pakistan from other International brands also
hopefully soon.
For now looking so forward to adding another shoe destination to my shopping forays here!
Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
