Finally the Pakistani Censor Board seems to be taking its duties seriously!
Pari the much awaited Anushka Sharma horror movie has been banned from screening in
Pakistani Cinemas.
It’s being said that the content promotes Anti-Muslim sentiment and Black Magic not to mention
some other evil practices etc.
Well it is a rare day when we see our censor board taking an initiative like this one.
What is surprising is how late this happened. A lot of cinemas had already sold tickets to their
customers and are now doing a refund. Not exactly a very good place to be in.
Pari which stars Indian Actress Anushka Sharma in the lead role
is the third venture for her company Clean Slate Films – with an Adult rating.
It is being reported that she plays a chilling super natural role.
The act itself is applaud able and it is hoped that more decisions that keep our core values in mind
will be taken by the Pakistan’s Censor Board.
