One can almost be forgiven thinking that Mahira and Bilal are more than just colleagues after witnessing their sizzling chemistry on screen! I mean I can’t remember the last time two beautiful people looked so good together!
It’s a beautiful movie. From Mahira who looks stunning to Bilal who looks ravishing to the locations, the costumes and the kaleidoscope of brilliant colors and stunning shots this movie is beautiful. Mahira has always been a good actor and Bilal has considerably improved as can be attested by his performance. The story itself was nice too. There was just the matter of the screenplay. I wouldn’t say this about a Pakistani Movie normally as frankly I always judge them according to our standards as the industry is in the throes of its rebirth. But some of the movies have set the bar so high and a big shot movie from such a director and a powerhouse production behind it is glaring in its effort to properly reel out the story.
But its glamorous and quite the paisa wasool. For avid movie goers it’s a good one!
Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
