A few years back I had the chance to visit the Hiemtextil which is the biggest and most important international trade
fair for home and contract textiles.
With more than 60 K visitors to the event, to say it is quite a show is a major understatement. Unfortunately I was
not able to see and enjoy any part of Frankfurt as I was with a group but the event itself was a proud moment for me
where I saw Pakistan occupy a top niche in the exhibition.
The fair is quite a stimulation to the senses with thousands of artists showcasing their designs and the vibrancy of
the colors all around assail you so completely that for quite some time to come everything pales in comparison.

Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
