Since the start of Ramadan, my mother had constantly been nagging me to make the gigantic mug of milkshakes that my family would have in Sehri as soon as my exams were over. Consequently, I ended up observing how my mom would make the milkshake, and I took up her job as soon as I was over with my examinations.
It seemed to be so tough and time consuming, but in reality it was beyond easy and hardly took 15-20 minutes of my time. It only requires 4 ingredients;
- Bananas – 3-4
- Mangoes – 2-3
- Dates – around 8-10
- Mugs of milk (as per your requirement)
All you have to do is peel the cover off of the fruits, and take out the seeds of the dates, throw them in the blender along with mugs of milk, and blend!

Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
