And finally the fourth season of The Crown dropped yesterday!
As quite an aggravation I must say though.
It was almost 6 pm when Netflix gave the update so my plan to binge watch it and be asleep by 11 were quite shattered.
However it’s one show I really can’t give up on and so stayed up till 6 am to finish it!
For fans of the series this would hardly be a big deal because everyone I know who is a fan of The Crown did the same!
As usual season 4 did not disappoint like any of the earlier ones.
What I was expecting was a season that revolved around Princess Di and Prince Charles but I was pleasantly and happily surprised to see that by the end of the season it as after all the story of Queen Elizabeth.
What makes season 4 super interesting is not just the unfolding of the story of Prince and Princess of Wales but also the story of Margret Thatcher or the Iron Lady as she was called.
From the sheer understated handling of the most lavish setting in the history of serials to the uncanny resemblances of the characters to their original counterparts this is one serial on Netflix that must not be missed.

Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
