Not just in his paintings but in his personality also!
Tall, Dark and Classy he doesn’t seem like your traditional version of a painter, nothing abstract or eccentric about him actually. What you do encounter is a keen intelligence and an intellect which is clearly visible yet never snobbish.
I met Aziz Hasan to go over his collection of fabulous abstracts rendered in all colors and ended up spending hours in his company discussing kids, poetry, life and writing without realizing how much time has actually flown by.
Aziz by the way is a self taught artist who has had a solo show in Paris! Of course he has shown countless times here in Pakistan alongwith LA, Dubai, London essentially strewing his dynamic paintings all around the world!
I was especially taken in by his hobby of jewelry designing which he considers a past time. His pieces however are a fusion of our traditional jewelry with tones of neo classicism that are breathtaking.
His paintings are visually stunning with colors that remind you of the celestial and are a showcase of his own easy going positive persona.
If you are looking to brighten up your space than he’s the artist to choose and if you are looking to brighten up your day than he’s the perfect coffee date!
Tvinkal is an idea that is seeded in the mind of our Muse and CEO Jahanara because of a dearth of good reading material pertaining to Pakistanis. An avid reader herself, she felt that most of the Pakistani Blogs were all about either sensationalism or were so deeply monetized that all they offered were advertisements or endorsements of different brands.
There isn’t a single Pakistani Lifestyle Blog that talks about the real life interests of Pakistanis especially the women. Be it Fashion, Trends, Street Style, Cooking, Shopping, Upcoming Events, Movie Reviews or a take on the International Scene, we just never get to read a Pakistanis Perspective.
And that is how Tvinkal came about!
