Beauty and the Beast Movie – A Review

Beauty and The Beast - A Review

So tonight my daughter and I went to see Beauty and The Beast!

Not necessary to mention that we were both super excited at the prospect. Her exams had made it impossible for us to catch this sooner and most of our family and friends have come back raving.
So we went hoping to be treated to a sensory delight. And was it a vision or was it a vision or what!

Disney as usual lived up to every expectation and Beauty and the Beast succeeded in creating a fairy-tale world that no one would mind living in.

Emma Watson made a gorgeous Beauty and played that element of odd that Beauty as a girl ahead of her time was labeled with to perfection. And the Beast….. say no more, totally lovable with or without the tail!

The exquisite dialogues, the subtle humor and the enchanted land will cast a spell on you for sure. Emma and Dan slayed in the scene where Dan Stevens was wooing her and they dance together. Over all just the happy magical experience that you would expect at a Disney flick.

Between, no worries about the suggestion of the gay byplay that the movie has wrapped in as a way of testing the waters and that has most parents concerned. Your tween will certainly miss it and by the time your teen will tither it will be done and long past. It’s just a suggestion with two dancing partners of the same gender so rest the unease.

If you haven’t caught it yet, do so now. It’s a no miss!
